HOW TO START FEELING HAPPIER – RIGHT NOW!

I recently read “Ask and it is given” by Esther and Jerry Hicks – what a wonderful book to raise one’s vibration! The following extract prompted me to write this short article:

You may have heard us say that your point of power is in the present because even though you may be thinking about the past, or you may be thinking about the now, or you may be thinking about the future – you are doing it all right now. You are vibrating now. The pulse is now. The vibrational offering is now. So what is happening is, any creative tension between the summoning of the Life Force and allowing of it to flow through you (the summoning and the allowing) – is all happening right here in the now.

So, here is the word that we want you to focus upon for the next few days. Here you stand in this fresh place. We love the freshness of where you stand. And now we want to show you how to stand in this fresh place and align your fresh Energy with fresh desire that will bring fresh and easy results.

You can start attracting better things into your life by changing the way you feel NOW.If you’re in a positive space, keep it up and direct your focus to your goals by faith and perseverance, frequently visiting them until you’ve achieved them.

Conversely, you might say life is really tough right now. I lost someone close to me, got retrenched, am going through a divorce, got upsetting news or an unsettling diagnosis. How should I feel positive?

The answer is, one blessing at a time. You don’t need to pretend everything is fine while it’s really not. Let it be and just shift your focus to something else which is positive.

You can literally use anything that allows you to feel better as a way to raise your vibration. Relax your muscles and let go of tension and resistance to what you’re going through. This in itself feels better, right?

Now, for 60 seconds focus on something you’re really grateful for, a flower, the sunset, clouds, your dog, a pleasant memory, a wonderful aroma, delicious food, your smile, or something that excites you. At the same time, pay attention to what’s happening in your body. It feels good, right? Yes! It means your brain is starting to produce “happy hormones”.

Now, keep it up and check your feelings every half hour throughout the day. Do the same tomorrow and the day after that… and that… and that… You’ll be surprised at how different you feel within a few day or a week. Just keep going!
